All LYA Industries, Inc. products carry a one-year limited guarantee.
Should they fail due to faulty materials or workmanship, or fail to
perform are designed, we will replace at our option, free of charge
including freight, those parts involved. The guarantee is void if the
unit has been misused, abused or tampered with.
Return Policy, LYA Industries, Inc
In addition to the above Product Warranty there can be limited 100 %
return policy. Before any agreed to return policy there must be direct
communication with the buyer. The following factors will be considered.
1.
Basketball systems all require
installation. Where is the intended site of the installation? Must be
installed properly relative to usage. Are all concerned parties aware
if this an the cost thereof?
2.
Who are the intended users and what are
the expectations of the purchaser? What type of supervision? Are rules
and instructions posted or made known?
3.
The Adjustable Bracket, Backboard, and Goal will be considered on an individual basis.
4.
Return freight must be prepaid.
Since people from 6 years old, and probably 75 to 100 pounds, to adults
weighing over 200 pounds are possible users, the above factors must be
considered. It is impossible to sell something at a reasonable price
and cover all the possible situations unknown with a 100% no questions
asked return policy. I'm sure all buyers are aware of this and know
direct factory communications can put both sides at ease.
The LYA Safety warnings and return polices are always being revised.

As a Final Note: Always think SAFETY. As should be done with all
recreational and exercise equipment periodically, monthly, yearly
schedule for maintenance and have other supervisors aware of
possible equipment malfunction and replace any damaged and worn
parts
Things to be aware of when playing and maintaining your basketball playing area
1. Teeth may become hooked in the net.
2. Hanging and Swinging from goal can cause falls.
3. Protect eyes from being poked.
4. Tripping and falling while playing basketball is very common.
5. Check equipment, replace damaged and worn parts.
6. Keep thinking Safety! How can this adjustable bracket bring
about sudden contact to your head if sudden down swing occurs for
any reason?
The mechanism swings 6 1/2 to 10 ft. controlled by a sturdy screw jack.
If this screw jack is damaged, worn out, not in place, or bolts are
missing or worn out replace them to prevent injuries if sudden down
swing does occur.
Other things that can lead to sudden down swing and injuries:
a. Vandalism
b. Improper installation
c. Not using the proper crank.
d. Standing on a ladder or fold out bleacher underneath a
basket allows an operator or player's head and shoulders to be in
position for contact and injury.

The corporate goal of LYA Industries is to promote

people (everyone) as an interesting means of engaging in physical
activity.
People of all ages can enjoy the sport of basketball
and good equipment thatstands up under hours of use is necessary to
meet a families needs. Good healthrequires hours of physical activity
daily and I'll try to explain precisely whatto expect from the
basketball equipment I manufacture and sell. Why more "Dunk for your
dollar" the LYA way? Why several models to choosefrom?
Since anyone who buys an adjustable system must
realize that any basketball hoopwill be used by all members of the
family, friends, relatives, neighbors, etc.The urge to try a slam dunk
and hang a little will overtake them all sooner orlater.
Basketball poles of 16 gauge (.065) steel and swing
arms less than 12 gauge(.109) just will not hold up. All LYA products
exceed these specifications.Check the LYA specifications.
Other standards maintained on LYA Adjustables:
1. 15 inches or more spacing of swing arms.
2. 1/2 inch bolts or equivalent for anchor points and other key stress
points.
3. Welded cross braces on all swing arms and back posts.
4. The screw jack is attached directly to the back post or pole and
"pulls" up on the bottom swing arm supported on an oversized
thrustbearing for direct force transfer to the pole.
5. There are no plastic components in an LYA Adjustable.
When shopping compare feature to feature and dollar
for dollar on looks,strength, safety and use-ability (intended use).
Put your hands on any potentialpurchase and hang a little on the goal
and adjustable, bump your fist on the edgeson the backboard, check
backboard wobble. Will a basketball actually bounce offthe backboard or
will there be a thud and the ball drops straight down like aflat one??
Have your kid adjust it up and down. How is the hanging playersweight
carried from the goal to the pole?? Trace the forces from player to
thepole.
